Collaboration is Here: Share, Publish, and Work Together
Research is better together. Share conversations with colleagues, collaborate on projects with your team, and publish reports to share your discoveries while keeping your data secure.
Research is better together. We're excited to announce new collaboration features that make it easier than ever to share your discoveries with colleagues and accelerate research as a team.
Share Conversations with Your Team
Found an interesting hypothesis? Need a second opinion on your analysis? Now you can share any ARC conversation with colleagues in just a few clicks.
How to share a conversation:
- Go to your Conversations page
- Find the conversation you want to share
- Click the share icon next to the conversation
- Enter your colleague's email address (you can add multiple recipients)
- Add an optional personal message
- Click Share
Your colleague will receive an email notification with a link to the conversation. They can view the full chat history and even continue the discussion from where you left off.
Use cases:
- Share a promising hypothesis with your PI for feedback
- Send an interesting gene analysis to a collaborator at another institution
- Get input from a statistician on your experimental design
Collaborate on Projects
Projects now support full team collaboration. As a project owner, you can invite colleagues to join your projects and work together on research initiatives.
How to add collaborators:
- Go to your Projects page
- Click the collaborators icon on any project you own
- Enter your colleague's email address
- Click Add
Collaborators will see the project appear in their Projects list and can access all shared data, upload files, and contribute to analyses. The project owner badge helps everyone know who created the project.
How to remove collaborators:
- Open the collaborators panel for your project
- Click the trash icon next to the collaborator you want to remove
- Confirm the removal
Important notes:
- Only project owners can add or remove collaborators
- Collaborators within your Heureka account share your credit balance
- External collaborators receive an email invitation and can sign up for free
Publish and Share Reports
Turn your project files into shareable reports that you can send to anyone—even people outside your organization.
How to publish a report:
- Open any project and navigate to the Files section
- Click the publish icon next to any file (PDF, CSV, images, etc.)
- Give your report a descriptive name
- Click Publish
The file will appear in your Reports page, ready to share.
How to share a report:
- Go to your Reports page
- Click the share icon next to any report
- Enter one or more email addresses
- Add an optional message
- Click Share
Recipients will receive an email with a link to view or download the report. This is perfect for sharing findings with collaborators, including results in grant applications, or distributing figures for presentations.
Your Data Stays Secure
Privacy remains our top priority. Here's how we keep your research safe:
- Your data stays private: All data remains secure in your private instance
- You control access: Only people you explicitly invite can see your projects
- Share selectively: Share specific conversations or reports without exposing underlying datasets
- Remove access anytime: Revoke collaborator access with one click
